On every poster page the size preview shows how the chosen format looks above a sofa.
The right frame
- Without a mat: a frame of exactly the poster size (e.g. A2 poster in an A2 frame).
- With a mat: one frame size up – as a rule of thumb A4 in 30 × 40 cm, A3 in 40 × 50 cm, A2 in 50 × 70 cm and 50 × 70 in 70 × 100 cm. A mat gives the map room to breathe and looks refined.
- Our posters ship without a frame.
Hanging it right
- The centre of the picture usually sits comfortably at about 145–155 cm height.
- Above a sofa or bed: bottom edge about 20–25 cm above the backrest or headboard.
- The picture (or group) should be roughly two thirds as wide as the furniture below.
- Prints fade over time in direct sunlight – a spot without strong sun keeps colours fresh longer.
